BOMBAY MASALA RICE
This is a special kind of masala biryani rice belonging to the Maharashtra state.
Ingredients
White basmati rice, cleaned,
washed and soaked for 30 minutes

: 1 cup
Water
: 2 cups
Bombay biryani masala
: 1 1/2 tbsp
Green peas (optional)
: 1/4 cup
Peeled and finely chopped carrot (optional)
: 1/4 cup
Method
- Put everything in a microwave-proof bowl.
- Microwave on HIGH power level for 16 minutes.
- Remove, fluff with a fork and serve hot accompanied by plain yoghurt on the side
