Cauliflower is an extremely versatile member of the cabbage family that can be prepared many ways. It is a low carbohydrate recipe that is high in protein. It is also very easy to make!
Small head cauliflower
Butter or margarine
: 2 tbsp
: 1 tsp
: 1/2 cup
In a casserole, place the cauliflower and water. Cover. Microwave at HIGH for 7 to 8 mins. or until fork tender, stirring once. Drain. Cover, set aside.
- Place butter in 4-5 cup measure. Microwave at HIGH for 1 to ¼ mins or until butter melts. Stir in flour, salt and pepper.
- Add milk and Worcestershire sauce.
- Microwave at HIGH for 3 to 4 mins. or until thickened, stirring after first 2 mins. and then after each minute. Stir in cheese and parsley.
- Pour over cauliflower.
