CHICKEN KORMA RECIPE Non-Vegetarian-Dish

Korma is a traditional dish in South Asian cuisine and is prepared either by using beef or chicken. Korma is cooked for mostly special occasions. Here chicken korma recipe is shared in which the addition of almond and coconut enhances its taste.



Ingredients

Chicken, boneless
: 1/2 kg
Curd
: 2 cups
Ginger-garlic paste
: 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder
: 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder
: 1/2 tsp
Garam masala
: 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder
: 1/2 tsp
Cloves
: 4 nos
Cardamom
: 1 crushed
Cashew paste
: 1/2 tsp
Oil
: 1 tbsp
Fresh cream
: 2 tbsp
Onions
: Sliced and fried

Chicken Korma Recipe

Method

  • Mix oil, ginger-garlic paste, chilli power and curd and cook on high for 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken and 2 tablespoons of water, cover and cook on high for 3 minutes.
  • Add cashew paste, garam masala and salt and cook at 60 for 12 minutes.
  • Add cream and garnish with the fried onions and sprinkle garam masala.
