HOLIDAY BROWNIE PIE Non-Vegetarian-Dish

Chocolatey to the core, this decadent brownie pie is layered with dense chocolate brownie shavings and nutd. You can also use it as a base for brownie sundaes.



Ingredients

Unsweetened chocolate
: 2 squares
Butter
: 1/3 cup
Sugar
: 1 cup
Eggs
: 2
All purpose flour
: 3/4 cup
Salt
: 1/4 tsp
Baking powder
: 1/4 tsp
Vanilla
: 1 tsp
Chopped nuts
: 1/2 cup

Holiday Brownie Pie

Method

  • Lightly beat eggs in separate bowl. Place chocolate and butter in a 4-cup measure. Microwave on medium (50%) 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Stir in sugar.
  • Fold 3 spoons full of hot mixture into eggs and mix well. Then return egg mixture to the chocolate mixture. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt, vanilla and nuts. Spread in a lightly greased 2-quart round dish.
  • Microwave on medium (50%) 7 minutes. Turn dish twice, then microwave on high (100%) 3 minutes. When cool, cut into wedges.
