"Mi" means, the human being
and "Zo" means, the hill. So, Mizoram means the land of the hill-dweller. Its
capital is Aizawl, which is a picturesque town built in tiers along the hills.
The Mizo tribals have no inhibitions and they lead a carefree life. Western
education and Christianity have penetrated strongly into the life of these people.
