VISHNU TEMPLES



The famous International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple in Bangalore city is huge cultural complex which was inaugurated in 1997 to carry out the vision of His Divine Grace.
Rama Hare Krishna cult built this temple in 1998 to disseminate the message of the Bhagwad Gita. The temple is near the Raja Dhirshain Marg, Sant Nagar near the East of Kailash locality. Lord Krishna has preached spirituality and way to Godhood 3000 years ago.
Ryali is situated in East Godavari district (Atreyapuram Mandalam) of Andhrapradesh - India. This area is also called Kona Seema, a purely well irrigated area of Andhrapradesh due to many tributories of river Godavari. The famous Sri Jagan Mohini (Sri Maha Vishnu) temple is situated here.
The Kurma Temple which is Sri Kakulam is one exceptional temple, which is dedicated to a rare incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The more than seven hundred years old temple is dedicated to Kurma or the tortoise incarnation of the Lord.
Lakshmi Narayana Temple on the Aerea Hills a very much panoramic view of Bhopal and is also known as the Birla Temple as the Birlas, one of leading industrial families of India, have built it.
Lakshmi Narayan Mandir is situated in the west of Connaught Place in Delhi. The temple is constructed by Raja Baldev Das in the year 1938 and is been dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
One of the oldest and largest temples at Chamba which stands proudly in the form of Lakshmi Narayan Temple. It has six different temples in its complex; this temple was built in the 10th century. The entire temple in the complex Arranged from north to south dedicated to either Lord Shiva or Vishnu.
Mehandipur Balaji Temple in Rajasthan is located in Dausa of North India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, worshiped by Hindus.
Ram Tirath Temple is located at a distance of 11 kilometers to the West of Chogawan road in Amritsar. The Ram Tirath Temple dates back top the period of Ramayana. There is a very good ancient tank near this temple.
The Ashrama at Laitumkhrah, Shillong has been vested with temple of beautiful marble idol of Bhagavan Shri Ramakrishna Dev which was consecrated in the year 1953 by the then President of the Ramakrishna Order, Swami Shankaranandaji Maharaj
Shreenathji of Nathdwara is 48 km from Udaipur in Rajasthan. The temple is dedicated to Lord Krishna with the diety’s image carved out of a single block of black marble. The temple is set amidst idyllic hills, it is known to be the second richest temple in the world.
Shri Govindaji Temple is located in Manipur which is one of the star attractions of the city. It is Hindu temple where deity’s worships are the Hindu gods, Radha and Krishna Govinda.
Tirupati is a famous town in the Chittoor district of the Southern portion of Andhra Pradesh and is at a convenient train journey away from Chennai (formerly Madras) in Tamilnadu. Tirumalai, one of the last of the seven Hills, is home to this temple and is connected by a well maintained and picturesque mountain road constructed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam.
Tulsi Manas Temple has engraved in it with historical as well as cultural importance in Varanasi and also in whole of India. This place is famous for Hindu Epic of Ramayana was composed.
Shree Krishna Temple of Udipi is first among the seven places of pilgrimages. Thousands of pious devotees throng here at the Udupi Krishna temple all round the year to catch a glimpse of Lord Krishna. Udupi Krishna Temple is located 60 km far from the Mangalore city. The Udupi Krishna Temple is commonly known as Krishna Mutt.
Varadaraja Perumal temple is recognized as Hastigiri and it was originally known as Attiyuran. Attiyuuran is a famous Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in the holy city of Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu, India. It is one of the "Divya Desams" temple, the 108 temples of Lord Vishnu believed to have been visited by the 12 poet saints, or Alwars.
