Ahmedabad is located in north-central region of Gujarat. This is known as the "Manchester of the East". The capital of Gujarat, Gandhinagar is about 32 kms north east of Ahmedabad.

Baroda or Vadodara was the capital city of an erstwhile princely state ruled by Gaekwads. The city is located on the fertile plain between the Mahi & Narmada Rivers.

The main reason behind the establishment of the Gir National park is to preserve the Asiatic Lion with its little left population outside of Africa.

Surat is the one of the oldest cities of Gujarat .It is major centre for its textile industry.Tithal which is about 108 km from Surat is a beautiful sandy beach .Ubharat is another beach resort which is around 42 km off Surat .

Saputara is a very scenic place situated in the Dang district of Gujarat which attracts a lot of tourists.Saputara at an altitude of about 875 meters is an ideal place to escape from the hustling bustling city life giving peace of mind and serenity.
