If you've been using ChatGPT for every minor inconvenience, you'll be pleased to know that the AI is now equipped with solutions for a broader range of problems, especially those related to health. OpenAI, the San Francisco-based artificial intelligence company, is set to launch ChatGPT Health.
This platform aims to help users feel informed, prepared, and confident when navigating their health concerns. The tool has been developed in close collaboration with over 260 physicians practicing across 60 countries.
According to an OpenAI blog post, health is one of the most common topics people ask ChatGPT about. Each week, hundreds of millions inquire about health and wellness-related issues.
ChatGPT Health will empower users to prepare for medical appointments, receive health-related advice, and even find suitable health insurance. "It is not intended for diagnosis or treatment.
Instead, it helps you navigate everyday questions and understand patterns over time-not just moments of illness-so you can feel more informed and prepared for important medical conversations," the post mentioned.
While OpenAI has clearly mentioned that ChatGPT Health is designed to support, not replace, medical care, this platform may lead to an increased reliance on AI for health-related queries.
