Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 18: Vicky Kaushal's Film Earns Rs 625 Crore
Vicky Kaushal is proving once again that he’s a force to be reckoned with! His latest film with Rashmika Mandanna, Chhaava, has been unstoppable at the box office, smashing its way to Rs 625 crore in just 18 days.
The grand historical drama has audiences hooked, and the numbers only seem to be going up. Even in its third week, the historical drama is holding strong at the box office with no signs of losing momentum.
On Day 18, Chhaava added Rs 8.50 crore to its tally. Although the film saw a significant dip in collections on its third Monday, its overall performance remains impressive.
According to a report by Sacnilk, the film has amassed Rs 467.25 crore nett in India over three weeks.
Chhaava continues its box office dominance, with its gross collection in India reaching Rs 548.15 crore. The film has soared past the Rs 625 crore mark worldwide, including Rs 77 crore from overseas markets.
With this, Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama has officially surpassed the worldwide earnings of Salman Khan’s Sultan, which stood at Rs 623 crore in 2016. Before that, Chhaava also outperformed Prabhas’ Salaar.
Now, all eyes are on its next big target—Gadar 2, which raked in Rs 690 crore globally in 2023.
What’s even more impressive is that Chhaava has now set a new benchmark for third-weekend collections! The film raked in Rs 60.10 crore over its third weekend, surpassing the records of Pushpa 2 (Hindi) at Rs 60 crore, Stree 2 at Rs 48.75 crore, and even Baahubali 2, which had earned Rs 42.55 crore.
With this feat, Chhaava has cemented its place as the highest-grossing film in its third weekend.
Apart from Vicky Kaushal’s gripping performance, the film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Diana Penty, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta. Released worldwide on February 14, 2025, the film was initially set to clash with Pushpa 2. However, the makers strategically postponed its release.
