Some parts of Rajasthan are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall for the next four days; the water level in the Ganga River has reached closer to the danger mark in Varanasi

Heavy rainfall lashed several parts of Delhi on Saturday (August 9, 2025). According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Saturday’s forecast says, “thunderstorm with rain.

” Areas including Vasant Kunj, R.K. Puram, Connaught Place, and Minto Bridge are experiencing intense showers. Waterlogging was reported at Panchkuian Marg due to continuous rainfall in the National Capital since early morning.

Meanwhile, IMD has issued a fresh warning of continued rainfall activity in Himachal Pradesh, with heavy rain expected in many parts of the state over the next few days

. The IMD has issued an Orange Alert for August 11 and 12 in three districts and a Yellow Alert for the remaining districts.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heavy rainfall alert in three Telangana districts for Saturday (August 9, 2025).

According to IMD’s latest bulletin, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy and Jogulamba Gadwal districts.
