20 Successful Startups Incubated by MIT-TBI

Pune, 29 August 2026: MIT Pune Technology Business Incubator (MIT-TBI) has been supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and technology-driven startups across diverse sectors for the past 10 years. Through its sustained efforts and the innovative ideas of entrepreneurs, 20 successful startups have emerged from the incubation ecosystem. This information was shared by Prof. Prakash Joshi, Director, MIT Pune Technology Business Incubator, at a press conference.

The press conference was attended by Sahil Nahar (Ergen Technovation), Sarthvah Bhongde (Akxy Solutions), Richa Rokade (Sante Foods), Arya Kadam (Fyntrest Education), and Meet Malpani (Raremint).

Prof. Prakash Joshi highlighted the achievements of several successful startups associated with MIT-TBI:

Ergen Technovation, founded by Sahil Nahar, has developed fast EV-charging technology. The startup received an award at the Electronics For You (EFY) Pune Auto R&D Awards 2026.

Akxy Solutions, founded by Sarthvah Bhongde, has developed a smart home composting system. The startup received the Entrepreneur Excellence Award 2026 from the deAsra Foundation.

Shreedha Green Solutions, founded by Balwant Dhage, manufactures eco-friendly and reusable khadi napkins. The company has received the National Entrepreneurship Award 2019 and the JRD Tata Social Innovation Award 2020.

Boost My Child is an online platform working through schools to support the holistic development of children.

Sante Foods manufactures healthy dark chocolates and was selected among the Top 60 Startups under the Maha60 Program.

Ruturas Food operates in the food and consumer products sector, focusing on innovative and healthy food products.

Proxi Farma Pvt. Ltd., founded by Dr. Madhur Motwani, develops plant-based nutritional products. The company received the National Startup Award under the Food & Beverage Trailblazer Category by DPIIT, Government of India.

Skalix Industries operates in the specialty chemicals sector, with a focus on bio-solvents, and is contributing to strengthening domestic manufacturing capabilities.

Cresa Green Tech develops biodegradable sanitary products and has received recognition at both national and international levels.

Alkaline operates in the innovation-driven product sector and has developed alkaline water machines. The company has received an Excellence Award and continues to undertake further research and development in this area.

Fyntrest Education operates at the intersection of EdTech and FinTech and is developing specialised books focused on financial education.

Raremint manufactures premium socks using bamboo and cotton for everyday use and has established a distinctive identity in this segment.

MIT Pune Technology Business Incubator is making a significant contribution towards strengthening India’s startup ecosystem. Under the visionary leadership of Prof. Prakash Joshi, MIT Pune Technology Business Incubator has successfully incubated more than 20 startups to date. Currently, 70+ startups are associated with the centre.

Of these, 30+ startups are operating physically from the centre, while 35+ startups are working remotely.
