Nissan Tekton Is Next Jap C-SUV (Creta Rival) Coming To India Next Year: Pics

Nissan indeed went on a long holiday in the Indian market after launching the Magnite in the country. The company launched the X-Trail as a CBU product, but that certainly was a half-baked exercise, if anything.

Today, taking the wraps off a new C-SUV, the Nissan Tekton comes into existence. The Tekton will sit above the Magnite in the company's line-up, and it will officially go on sale in the Indian market by Q2 2026.

As of now, Nissan has only revealed the design of the upcoming Nissan Tekton, while the brand is tight-lipped about the specifications and models it will rival.

We expect it could feature a host of powertrain choices, including NA petrol, turbo-petrol, and hybrid powerplants.

Talking of rivals, since it will sit over the Magnite in the company's line-up, this will go against the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Victoris, and more.

In terms of design, Nissan says it is highly inspired by the flagship Patrol SUV. It gets a flat bonnet sitting upright on the front fascia, which is further complemented by a horizontal light bar connecting headlamps.
