90s superstar Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja are reportedly heading for divorce after 37 years of marriage. Over the years, several rumours of trouble in their marriage have emerged and eventually, died down. This time, it comes after Ahuja admitted that she and the Partner actor have been staying in separate houses.

“Nobody can separate us. I have a lot of fun with him. There are people who want to break homes more than outsiders. I won’t let anyone break homes. I will win because Baba [Shirdi Sai Baba] is with me," Sunita Ahuja told Shirdi Today.

In a recent interview with Hindi Rush, Ahuja spoke about living in two separate houses. “We have two houses, we have a bungalow opposite our apartment. I have my temple and my kids in the flat. We live in the flat whereas he gets late after his meetings.

He loves talking so he’ll gather 10 people and sit chatting with them. Whereas me, my son and my daughter live together, but we hardly talk because I feel if you end up wasting your energy by talking too much," she said.

Ahuja also candidly expressed that she doesn’t want to have Govinda as her husband in next life. “I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn’t go on holidays. I am a person who wants to go out with her husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working… I don’t recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie," she said.

Reportedly, Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have decided to end their marriage owing to several factors. Their constant disagreements and varied lifestyles are the primary sources, reports several unverified sources. Other than this, Govinda’s growing closeness to a 30-year-old Marathi actress is reportedly a contributing factor to their alleged split.
