for its tea gardens, and richest wildlife of Asia. It also has a rich cultural
and crafts heritage.
Adjacent to West Bengal and Sikkhim, its border passes
through the foothills of Nepal and Bhutan. It is projected towards the hilly
regions of Burma and China. Geographically, Assam broadly comprises the Brahmaputra
valley.
