BABY CORN HARA MASALA Vegetarian-Dish

This recipe involves chunks of baby corn cooked in a spicy coriander paste.



Ingredients

Baby corn, cut into 4 lengthwise
: 1 cup
Lemon juice
: 1 tsp
Sugar
: 1 tsp
Oil
: 2 tbsp
Salt
: To taste
Chopped fresh coriander
: 1 cup
Fresh ginger (12 mm)
: 1/2 inch
Garlic cloves
: 2
Green chilies
: 1
Onion, chopped
: 1
Cumin seed (jeera)
: 1 tsp

Baby Corn Hara Masala

Method

  • In a glass bowl, add the oil and the prepared paste(last 6 ingredients). Microwave on HIGH for 1 minute.
  • Add the baby corn, salt and 2 tablespoons of water and mix well. Cover with a lid and microwave on HIGH for 6 minutes.
  • Add the lemon juice and sugar. Mix well.
  • Serve hot, garnished with the sliced tomatoes and lemon wedges.
