SEASONED GREEN PEAS Vegetarian-Dish

Peas are a natural mixture of starch and protein.Nothing beats a delicious serving of fresh green peas. This recipe is unique, tasty, and extremely healthy.



Ingredients

Frozen tiny peas
: 1 pack
Instant minced onion
: 1 tsp
Thyme leaves
: 1/4 tsp
Firm butter or margarine, cut into 4 pieces
: 2 tbsp
Salt and pepper
: To taste

Seasoned Green Peas

Method

  • In a 1 quart casserole with a lid, place peas, breaking them up as much as possible.
  • Sprinkle with onion and thyme.
  • Dot with butter.
  • Microwave, covered, on HIGH (100%) for 4 to 5 minutes (stirring after 3 minutes) or until heated through.
  • Let stand, covered, for 2 minutes.
