Amarnath

Amarnath is one of the most praised of Hindu temples, dedicated to Lord Shiva. The Amarnath cave is noted for its pillar of ice or the ice lingam is visited by thousands of pilgrims mostly during the month of July and August.

Gulmarg is located in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.Gulmarg literally means'Meadow of Flowers' and is close to the Indo-Pakistan border. It is about 57 km southwest from the capital city of Srinagar.

Jammu is the northernmost state of India and takes off majority of the Himalayan mountains.Jammu is also referred as the city of temples for there are number of shrines with beautiful shikhars.

Kargil is situated in the district of Ladakh of the state Kashmir, India. It is an ideal place for trekking and mountain climbing.

Pahalgam in the state of Jammu and Kashmir about 95kms away from Srinagar is concentrated more towards the Western region of the state amidst the Himalayas.
