Rabindranath Tagore

Also know as Gurudev, Rabindranath Tagore, was a prolific painter. His paintings have been exhibited in India and abroad. He used unique coloring schemes and styles in his paintings. Much of his artwork was inspired from primitivism.

Ravi Varma

Ravi Varma was born in on April 29, 1848. His artistic skills were hugely inspired and featured the depiction of scenes from the epics of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. His paintings were never seen been before coalesce of Indian tradition with European art.

His philosophical outlook has always been appreciated, but he is most appreciated for his paintings of sari clad women of India.

Landscape Paintings

Inclination of portraying objects in unique texture or color, led to essaying landscape paintings. In these classical paintings, works of art are reframed nature for expressive effect and that is called abstract art. Abstract landscape paintings are mostly inspired by the natural surroundings.
