Ingredients

Beet root
: 1/2 cup
Tomatoes
: 4
Black peeper
: 1 tsp
Cumin
: 1 tsp
Garlic
: 6 pods
Coriander
: 1/2 cup
Curry leaves

Beet Root Rasam

Method

  • Microwave pepper and cumin for 1 min, then add beet root, tomato, coriander and curry leaves.
  • Add some water, cook for 3 mins and allow it to cool.
  • Grind in mixer.
  • Add 2 cups of water and salt.
  • Microwave on medium for 3 mins.
  • Add 1 tsp of ghee
