Here is a recipe for microwave doi-maach using Salmon.Doi Maach or Fish in Yogurt Sauce is a typical Bengali dish which is light, easy to prepare and yet is a favorite as a dish you would serve your guests on those special occasions.
Smear Salmon with Salt.
- In a frying pan saute some sliced onions.
- Place fish in a microwave proof dish, cover with plain yoghurt beaten with a litlle salt and water, sprinkle chilli powder, raisins (optional), green cardamom,clove, cinnamon, bayleaf, sauteed onions, and 1 green chilli slit through lengthwise.
- Cover and cook on high till fish is done time will vary with quantity - usually 5-7 mins for 4 steaks.
