FRUITS IN COCONUT-CASHEW GRAVY Vegetarian-Dish

It is a colorful medley of fruits simmered in a thick coconut cashew gravy. The dish has a wonderful aroma and also have a Keralite touch along with Coconut and Cashews.



Ingredients

Apple
: 2
Pineapple
: 1
Green grapes(seedless)
: 10
Banana
: 1
Cherries ( for garnish)
: 5
Coconut (grated)
: 1/2 cup
Cashewnuts
: 10
Oil
: 1 tbsp
Salt
: To taste
Chilli powder
: 1 tsp

Fruits In Coconut-Cashew Gravy

Method

  • Grind the coconut and the cashewnuts with a little water to get a smooth paste.
  • Cut the apples into small cubes.Slice the pineapple & the banana into roundels.
  • Heat oil in a microwave-safe dish on High for 2 mts.
  • Add the ground paste.Cook on High for 4 mts.
  • Add salt and chilli powder.Add all the fruits .Cook on High for 4 mts.
  • Garnish with the cherries and serve hot.
