INDIAN CHUTNEY 
No Indian meal is complete without a pickle and chutney. They add an extra taste to a meal and help to increase the appetite. They are served with both snacks and main meals.
Ingredients
Apples cored, chopped
: 2
Onion chopped
: 1/2 cup
Raisins, seedless
: 1/2 cup
Vinegar
: 1/3 cup
Brown sugar packed
: 1/4 cup
Water
: 1/4 cup
Citron candied, optional
: 2 tbsp
Curry powder
: 1 tsp
Salt
: 1/2 tsp
Ginger ground
: 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon, ground
: 1/8 tsp
Cloves, ground
: 1/8 tsp
Garlic peeled, minced
: 1 clove

Method
- Cook all ingredients on high covered (100%) for 5 minutes.
- Stir.
- Cook uncovered for further 3 minutes.
