MICROWAVE VEGETABLE STUFFED CUTLET
Vegetable cutlets are great blend of vegetables and spices. These are great as an appetizer, afternoon snack with tea, or as a side dish with dinner.
Ingredients
Potatoes (boiled)
: 250 gms
Onion (finely chopped)
: 1
Cabbage (grated)
: 50 gms
Peas (boiled)
: 1/4 cup
Green chillies (chopped)
: 2 - 3
Bread crumbs
: 2 tbsp
Chat masala powder
: 1/2 tsp
Salt & black pepper powder
: To taste
Red chilli powder
: 1/4 tsp
Oil
: 1 tsp
For garnishing
Tomato rings, onion slices and lemon wedges.
Method
- Boil potatoes and peas separately.
- Mix all the ingredients (except bread crumbs, oil) for the cutlets.
- Preheat the oven at 250 degree Celsius at convection mode.
- Applying oil on your hands, shape the mixture into cutlets and coat with bread crumbs. Brush with oil.
- Place these cutlets on the greased non-stick tawa / microwave safe flat dish at high rack and bake for 25 - 30 minutes till golden brown.
- Reposition frequently for uniform browning.
- Serve hot with crisp salad, wafers and green chutney or sauce.
