Rajasthan

Rajasthan is one of the largest states in India. Beyond its western and northwestern frontier, dominated by the great Thar Desert is Pakistan. To its east and northeast are Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh lies to its southeast and Maharastra to its southwest.

Asia's oldest mountain range, the Aravalli, runs through Rajasthan. This state is also called "The Land of Princes". It is full of deserts, rocks and lakes.
