Aurangabad, is in the northern part of of Maharashtra. Kailash Temple is famous for 200,000 tonnes of rock.

Nashik more popularly known as the "Wine Capital of India". It is a major Hindu pilgrimage center. It is situated in the northwest of Maharashtra which is about 185 km from Mumbai. Nashik is encircled by nine hills.

Panchgani is a quite essential residential hill station. It can be seen in the architecture of the old British buildings, the Parsi houses and the boarding schools that have been around for a century or more.Panchgani derives its name from five hills around it.

Pune is at a distance of about 192kms away from Mumbai .The Film and Television Institute of India and National Defence Academy are located here.It is a big educational centre.
